The Russian Red Cross (RRC), the oldest humanitarian organization in Russia, has begun collecting funds to provide targeted support to the victims, families of those injured and killed in the terrorist attack at the Crocus City Hall in Krasnogorsk, Moscow Region.
The terrorist attack in the Crocus City Hall near Moscow occurred on March 22, 2024, dozens of people were killed and more than a hundred injured. The Investigative Committee classified the incident as a terrorist attack.
“This is a terrible tragedy. We offer our condolences to everyone who lost their loved ones and who suffered. We are ready to provide all the necessary assistance and encourage you to join us. It is extremely important that the victims are not left alone with this disaster and feel support, the support of the entire country,” said the Russian Red Cross President Pavel Savchuk.
The funds will be directed to provide targeted assistance to the victims and their families.
The hotline, through which citizens can receive psychosocial support, operates at 8-800-250-18-59 (the line has been switched to 24-hour operation).
