The Russian Red Cross with the support of the Italian Red Cross and the Chinese Red Cross implements cooperation on migration.
Since June 2021, the Russian Red Cross in Moscow has been implementing a project to help the most vulnerable
categories of migrants. During the project implementation period:
- 800 humanitarian kits were distributed;
- 500 food vouchers were handed out;
- more than 3,000 legal consultations were conducted;
- 150 migrants received voluntary health insurance policies;
- 478 migrants were vaccinated against COVID-19.
Along with this, the project team works with individual appeals from foreign nationals and assists them to get access to medical services. Also on September 1, 2021, a training center for children of migrants was opened.
