Today, May 8, on the World Red Cross and Red Crescent Day, we once again say thank you to millions of volunteers around the world for their dedication to humanitarian work and commitment to our Fundamental Principles, for their kindness, courage and determination. Every day they are the first to help those in need, and they do so with love and #fromtheheart.
The world will inevitably face new humanitarian crises and challenges, but the Movement's staff and volunteers with their humanity and courage will always be at the forefront of providing assistance, whatever the circumstances are.
Being a part of the International Red Cross and Red Crescent Movement, we firmly believe that everybody can make the world a kinder place.
