On May 11, 2021 in Kazan there was an attack on students and employees of Gymnasium 175. As a result of the explosion and shooting 9 people were killed, 32 were injured.
Total donations received by the Russian Red Cross from individuals and legal entities amounted to 86,424,182.78 (as of July 5, 2022).
These funds were spent on financial payments to families of the victims and those injured in the tragedy, organizing medical care for the wounded, providing psychosocial support to teachers and students of Gymnasium No. 175 and providing the victims with technical rehabilitation equipment.
